Christmas has come and gone — and I am only now getting around to posting about it!
I showed some photos of the daggy Christmas tree from my childhood. Nothing daggy about the Christmas decorations this year!
My sister’s colour theme for this year was orange and lemon. These are the amazing, quirky decorations she came up with!
Cute yellow ducklings that quacked when you pressed them! (Photo copyright: Anne Lawson 2013)These goldfish made a bubbling sound when they were pressed. (Photo copyright: Anne Lawson 2013)The centre piece was a pot of chillies that looked like yellow/orange flames. (Photo copyright: Anne Lawson 2013)Who knew that there were so many yellow and orange delights! (Photo copyright: Anne Lawson 2013)Even the napkins matched. (Photo copyright: Anne Lawson 2013)Naturally, the Christmas tree was a lemmon, with golden hearts dangling from its branches. I was surrounded by love, laughter and good food. I hope that everyone’s Christmas was as delightful as mine.
Xmas decorations heavy on cute rubber duckies and chilis sounds like a far more interesting table than the traditional one! Xmas has come and gone hasn’t it…. I guess I’d better get back to some sort of normal life soon!
